  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In a large bowl, combine first 6 ingredients and blend until combined.
  3. To the banana mixture, add in flour, oats, soda, and salt. Combine until batter is well mixed then stir in nuts if you wish.
  4. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
  5. Bake for approximately 1 hour. Baking times may vary, so be sure to do the toothpick test. Insert a toothpick and if it comes out clean (no batter clinging to it), then the bread is done.
  6. Allow bread to (mostly) cool before cutting. Enjoy! 🙂

Quick bread batters are great for adding what ever “mix ins” you like depending on your tastes and preferences. Here are some of our favorites.

3/4 c. chocolate chips
3/4 c. butterscotch chips

1/2 c. sliced almonds
3/4 c. blueberries (toss in flour before adding in)
3/4 c. diced apples or pears (toss in flour before adding in)
