The last few months, I have been feeling a bit nostalgic. Maybe it’s just that I’m getting older, or maybe it’s the turning of seasons that always makes me a little reflective about the consistent and unending passing of time.
Choosing my recipe for this week was tough, and I mean seriously, seriously difficult. This is mainly because my love of cheese far exceeds what any normal, rational, health-conscious, Minnesotan girl’s should. But, growing up in the midwest, with Wisconsin right next door…. can you blame me? I will happily eat cheese for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Today will mark the first huge snowstorm that we have had yet in Minnesota this winter. There are a few things I really look forward to when there is promise of piles and piles of the fluffy, white stuff. First there’s sweaters, and I’m talking the huge, soft, fall-into-them, probably-belonged-to-your-dad kind of sweaters. Of course we have to have a great movie marathon and in our house, this usually means at least 6 hours of Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings.
